Residential Dog Training (Weekly/Monthly) is where work with your dog 24/7 either with intensive behavioural modification training or general obedience.

We also do personal protection training, see our social media pages on the dogs training in various types of protection. All boarding is included in the costs. All dogs are monitored 24/7 by Hik Vision CCTV as well as having 2 fully trained Personal Protection Dogs to watch over them day & night as you can’t be too careful due to the large numbers of dog thefts around the UK ,

 

There is always someone with your dog either myself or my partner so your dog is never left alone at any time.

Residential training is like boot camp but for dogs, it’s also a fantastic fun learning experience for dogs, clients say things like “I brought you an uncontrollable unmanageable dog and you returned a completely different dog, we can also see they have clearly enjoyed the experience”

“It has been nearly 4 weeks since I picked up my 2 years old GSD (Simba) from his 3 weeks residential training at K9 Training Services what a difference to the dog I dropped off to the one I picked up. We had Simba from the age of 8 weeks and he has been friendly with other dogs and human until he turned around 1.5 years when he started to develop extreme reactiveness toward other dogs almost to the point where I had to hide behind cars and bushes when we saw another dogs on our walks. It became very unpleasant and stressful experience taking Simba out the house specially as I had 2 children under the age of 3 and not being able to go outdoors to enjoy family activities together which is the main reason we bought a dog. “I have a 10 month old Turkish Kangal called bear, he recently finished 3 weeks residential training with Mikey. Kangals are known to be hard to train and stubborn and taking into consideration his size (he’s already 100kg) we thought it is important make sure he’s trained properly. The first thing I’d like to say is ThankYou, bear was treated like one of the family and was loved and cared for like he was at home. Mikey constantly updated me with videos and voice notes, allowing me to see what training bear had done on the day and how he was getting on. It’s safe to say bear loved every day of it and didn’t look like he wanted to come home. His intense training with Mikey was a huge success and he came home a different dog. Bear is only 10 months old but his obedience is outstanding and I now have the knowledge from Mikey to continue his training and raise a level headed obedient dog. We also set up a private WhatsApp group with every client so you see exactly what’s been done, the techniques used. You get regular updates and videos, we speak to you in the videos as if your right there with us, explaining everything. We explain what we are doing throughout your dogs stay and the progress that’s been made. On your return there is a handover session so that your completely comfortable with what we have been working on.

You also get a  free training at our training centre after your residential training to ensure you have a good grasp on what we taught your dog, and to ensure you and your dog does not fall back into old bad habits. You then have the opportunity to join our training centre to continue your training if you like. You also get free access to our K9 Training Services Facebook training page, this is exclusively for K9 TS members, you can post your videos, ask questions, seek advice on everything from training to diet & husbandry.

You will have access to our head Trainer Michael who responds to all members questions, as well as help & advice from the other members who are always very encouraging and helpful.

There is secure car parking facilities, an enclosed floodlight training field, full agility equipment, a huge 300m obstacle course, a dedicated cardio room with both electric & slat treadmills, professional weighing scales to monitor dogs weight, full CCTV monitoring. Full dog training protection facilities with licensed bitehelpers & decoys.

Both Michael & Fiodina Vom Jaspis are the only team to gain 100p in Tracking in IGP3 and went on to become Vice Winner of the Dutch IGP Nationals
